Players Classic 2020 Update.

The team here at Players have spent a lot of time exploring the options and course of action for holding Players Classic 2020. With the current situation and procedures that would have to be put in place, we feel we wouldn’t be able to hold the event that everyone has come to expect from Players Classic.

As we have said from the beginning, the safety of the public and staff at our events is paramount. Adhering to health and safety advice, and following government guidelines would mean a reduced number event with no gathering of groups and the possibility of wearing masks. With the difficulty of policing these kind of measures, and taking into account any risk factors or guaranteeing complete safety. We believe it would be irresponsible to hold any kind of public event or gathering.

We have always stated that unless we are 100% sure that it is safe to hold an event, we would not go ahead. Believe us when we say we have looked at every avenue, and there is nothing more we want to do than to bring you all a car show right now. With that said, it saddens us to announce we will not be holding Players Classic in August 2020 at Goodwood Motor Circuit.

We are exploring the possibility of bringing you a 1 day show later this year in September/October. More info on this will become available as we know. Please rest-assured, as we will be posting later this week all the info needed regarding tickets that have been purchased for Players Classic 2020.

From all of us here at Players, we would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during this unpredictable time. Hopefully we can get back to hanging out and looking at cars later this year!
